Elastic Move’s new CEO, Magnus Histrup

We are excited to present our new CEO, Magnus Histrup, who was appointed by Elastic Move’s Board and will assume his new role as of February 1st, 2024. Magnus Histrup will succeed cofounder Per Sevrell who will remain within Elastic Move and as a board member.

Magnus Histrup has worked within the IT business since the mid-nineties, and most recently came from the role of business development manager for the Nordics at Amazon Web Services (AWS) working closely with customers to craft and adopt usage of AWS services. With over 30 years of experience and core expertise in business development, International sales and contract negotiations, customer relationship management, coaching, public cloud, machine learning, IoT, and business intelligence, we firmly believe Magnus is the perfect fit to lead Elastic Move.

In the summer of 2023, Elastic Move joined Co-native, the Nordics' first cloud specialist group, to switch gears, level up and grow even further. By bringing on Magnus at this important passage and by taking full advantage of his effective organizational and communication skills with the ability to relate to a wide range of people, we hope to build an even stronger foundation with both Co-native and the other partner networks in the group and even further accelerate the influx of new opportunities at Elastic Move.

Magnus Histrup takes over the role as CEO on the 1. February 2024. The founder Per Sevrell will remain within Elastic Move and as a board member.
