Di Gazelle, again!

For the second time, we’re one of Sweden’s fastest-growing companies!

We’re happy to announce that for the second year running we’ve been awarded the Di Gazelle award!

During a year dictated by the pandemic, this award feels extra special to us, as less than 1% of Sweden’s companies meet the Gazelle criteria.

Thanks to all the employees, customers, and partners who made it possible.

Says our CEO, Per Sevrell:

To put it mildly, It’s been a hard and strange year for everyone around the globe. To be able to prove that Elastic Move has still managed to grow and prosper during this year shows a great feat of strength of our core values, employees and business model.
It makes me proud of everyone on our team and I look forward to the future of hopefully becoming a master gazelle next year.

About Di Gazelle

Di’s Gazelle survey is based on the company’s four most recent annual reports. To qualify as a Gazelle, the company must meet all the following criteria:

  • Turnover exceeding 10M SEK, according to the latest annual report

  • Minimum 10 employees, according to the latest annual report

  • At least doubled its turnover, when comparing the first and the last financial year of the four-year investigation period

  • Increased its turnover each year the past three years

  • A positive operating profit for the 4 previous financial years

  • In all essentials grown organically, not by acquisitions or fusions

  • Sound finances

Elastic Mobile is now Elastic Move

Welcome to our new web page!

We're proud to welcome you to our new web page. Maybe you've already had a chance to look around and learn about AWS and the public cloud. Perhaps you've found some inspiration through our customer cases and cloud stories. In any case, we're glad to see you here!

We'll update this news section regularly, so remember to check back once in a while. The best way to stay updated is to follow us on LinkedIn, as that's where we'll post new job openings and other company news.

Same cloud experts, new name

If you've known us for a while, you're probably curious about our new name and our new visual identity. First of all, we want to say that we're still the same company with the same legal name. In other words, there's no need to change any existing agreements.

So, what's up with the new name? Elastic Move is our trade name, used in marketing communication. We chose this name because we want to emphasise our diverse work within the public cloud – ranging from cloud migration to supporting services. We also want to clarify that we don't focus on mobile apps, as our legal name might suggest.

A summary of the things that will stay the same:

  • Our legal name (Elastic Mobile Scandinavia AB)

  • Our organisation number (see page footer)

  • Our billing address (see page footer)

Questions or comments?

Cloud questions? Feedback on our new website? Please use the form on our Contact page, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. Because we have many international customers, we've chosen to only communicate in English on our web page. However, feel free to contact us in Swedish as well.

The ultimate test: This is how we walk our talk

Business as usual in the Mediterranean

We like to say that Elastic Move was born in the cloud. To put our cloud-based work to the test, we packed our phones and laptops and took our work on the road. We spent a week in September in the Mediterranean, doing business as usual. Customer meetings, customer support, internal routines – an ordinary week in the life of Elastic Mobile.

How did we do it?

We were well prepared: Everything we do is cloud-based, and most of our meetings are already online. To be honest, we didn’t tell our customers about our change of scenery. Because we have complete confidence in the reliability of our cloud solutions, we dared to go ahead with this extreme test.

When we chose our location, reliable internet capacity was our top priority. However, we also tried disconnecting from the internet a few times during the week. The tests were a success. To manage our 24/7 support agreements, i.e. 24/7 standby duty, we made sure that support was always available in our “base camp”.

The results: A success!

We continuously measure a set of key performance indicators. When we look back at our Mediterranean workweek, the results far exceeded our high expectations. The only negative thing we can report is that the work environment wasn’t as good as our home office. On the other hand, we could take a dip in the pool during our lunch break. That was a welcome feature!

Our cloud experts will gladly tell you more about our cloud-based solutions (and Malta too).

Cloud career talk at ARKAD 13–14 Nov

Many interesting cloud conversations

Our team spent two inspiring days at ARKAD – Scandinavia's largest annual career fair for engineering students. Together with hundreds of companies, we got the chance to showcase our organisation and interact with 10,000 students from the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University.

We appreciated the opportunity to talk about our favourite topics, the public cloud and AWS, with so many interested students. One-on-one student sessions, organised in a more relaxed environment, also allowed us to go beyond casual conversation. Who knows, maybe we met some of our future Cloud Engineers!

Engineering students – let's keep the conversation going!

Maybe you met us at ARKAD. Perhaps your website visit is your first point of contact. Maybe you're writing your Master's Thesis. Perhaps you're interested in working as a Cloud Engineer. In any case, feel free to get in touch! We're always on the lookout for new talent.
